Living in Tennessee and the Bible belt, it can be particularly challenging to find vendors and collaborators who are accepting of the LGBTQIA+ community and who will make queer people feel safe and seen. There are a number of incredible allies, in Nashville especially, but nothing compares to working with actual queer creators and business owners.

I’ve had so many queer clients tell me that the reason they found me or decided to work with me is because I am upfront and explicit about my alignment with the LGBTQIA+ community. I put it in my branding and advertise it in my portfolio because I decided a few years ago that I want to prioritize the queer community in Nashville.

With everything that’s been happening in the United States, in states like Tennessee specifically, it’s important to me that the lives of queer people are documented and preserved in the most authentic and beautiful ways possible. I want our community to be supported and encouraged in all stages of life, and I want to make sure everyone feels safe and seen and loved for who they are.

This community is so close to my heart because I myself am queer. It took me a long time to be comfortable with myself and my identity, and for years I didn’t believe I belonged in this space. Being apart of the ace umbrella, it can feel like I’m not straight enough to be straight but not gay enough to be queer. This has led me to a lot of self-reflection, a lot of research, and a lot of deep conversations with other queer people. I’ve spent years advocating for ace people specifically, and it’s taught me how to love both myself and the LGBTQIA+ community as a whole.

The bottom line is this: you are loved. You deserve to be seen and heard. And my hope is that I can be someone you can trust.

Whether you’re looking for a wedding photographer, a creative collaborator to bring your vision to life, or you just need a queer friend in the Nashville area, I’m happy to help you on your journey. And if you and I aren’t a great fit, I have many relationships with other queer creators in the Nashville area, and I’d be happy to connect you!

I am happy to accommodate your needs in whatever way I can, and I have slider scale pricing options if you need financial assistance. This applies to all minorities including BIPOC and individuals with disabilities.
